I've been spending most of my time varnishing a cello and bringing out the best in some new violins. This is all fine and dandy, but I was feeling the need for a fresh start to balance out my work on ending things. So here it is. I selected the wood earlier this week and have been working on the top and neck. It's been refreshing and therapeutic. I've also acquired some new pigments and am experimenting with colours and varnishes. I'm also happy to report that I've actually been playing my instruments more than usual. All good stuff!
